I started out researching
European row houses and town buildings. I ended up using this design
as the first of many. Although it is a 3 story structure, it is small
compared to many other town buildings, so I chose to make it a
residence with
a small store front in a small town. I gave it a front roof
accent and didn't add any side windows so it can be placed adjacent
to other buildings. The front has a large store window and a door.
I will eventually add architectural accents to the exterior, by placing
window shutters, window sills, and window and door frames before
painting.
